Momentum Chiropractic Clinics are based in Newton Abbot and Taunton. They were started in 2010 by principle Chiropractor Matthew Wright. Both clinics have onsite parking and are based on the ground floor.
Patient care is paramount and we strive to provide our patients with the latest up to date testing and clinical procedures in a friendly yet caring environment. This combination allows us to produce outstanding results.
We work closely with patients to manage their needs, whether it is to get out of pain or to achieve optimal health and wellbeing.

Chiropractor Matthew Wright’s first experience of Chiropractic was during his school days, after a friend injured himself while playing football, Matthew was inspired to study Chiropractic after seeing his remarkable recovery after just one treatment.
Graduating in 2005 from the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic, Matthew started his Chiropractic career in Nottingham and in 2007 moved on to manage two clinics in Yorkshire. In 2010 he moved back home to Devon to open Momentum Chiropractic Clinic in Newton Abbot. Originally operating from premises on Queen Street the Clinic moved to its current location at 122 Torquay Road in 2013. Alongside his clinic in Newton Abbot, Matthew worked at Bathpool Chiropractic Clinic in Taunton between 2011 and 2017 which he has since taken over and moved to the premises on Silver Street.
Matthew uses a wide range of chiropractic adjusting techniques depending on the individual needs and preferences, from very gentle instrument adjustment to a variety of manual techniques. He also has qualifications in dry-needling, deep tissue massage and instrument assisted soft tissue mobilisation. To find out more about the techniques used click here
Matthew is registered with the General Chiropractic Council (GCC) and British Chiropractic Association (BCA).
The GCC regulates chiropractors in the UK to ensure the safety of patients undergoing chiropractic treatment. They are an independent statutory body established by Parliament that regulate the chiropractic profession and they protect public by ensuring high standards of practice in the chiropractic profession.

The British Chiropractic Association is the largest and longest-standing association for chiropractors in the UK. The BCA only accepts members who have graduated from a nationally or internationally recognised college of chiropractic education after a minimum of four years full-time training and ensures its chiropractors maintain high standards of conduct, practice, education and training.
All BCA members are covered by a high quality professional indemnity insurance and the Association operates a robust professional standards and complaints management process.
